Birthday Parties

Why host a birthday at Casino M8trix

A night out, not a rented hall

Casino M8trix is a licensed California card room with a Las Vegas style build, and the event space sits in an on-site tower on the sixth and seventh floors. Guests arrive somewhere that already feels like a night out.

The celebration doesn’t have to end when the party does. Your group can move to Epic Bar for a drink, sit down for dinner at one of five dining venues, or walk the gaming floor. Gaming is optional and separate from your event.

For anyone searching for birthday party places in San Jose for adults, the 21+ policy is part of the appeal. Your guest list is adults only, which suits a milestone birthday, an anniversary toast or a long overdue reunion.

The event space and capacity

Rooms from 25 to 200 guests

Casino M8trix’s private event space lives in the Event Tower, separate from the main gaming areas. That gives your group its own place to gather, toast and celebrate.

Here is what the spaces hold:

• Bamboo Room (6th floor): 1,922 sq. ft., 31′ x 61′, 18′ ceiling, up to 80 guests. Includes chairs and tables, linens, glassware, dishware and silverware.
• VIP Lounge (7th floor): four connected rooms with a central bar and multiple seating areas, set up for receptions and mixers.
• Zone 8 Sports Bar & Grill: up to 200 guests, a six-hour rental with the full restaurant available.
• Parallel Lounge (casino floor): up to 25 guests, a three-hour rental with no venue fee.

Hosts looking for small party venues in San Jose should say so up front. A smaller guest list changes the setup conversation, and it’s better to have that conversation early. You can compare every space on the venues page.
